Alaister & Shayleen

On the 4th February Alaister & Shayleen were married at Mentors Kraal in Jeffreys Bay. A wedding that we definitely will always hold dear to our hearts. What an amazing and delightful couple. Here is their story:-





Our Love story...

I was new to PE and had found a job at a local coffee shop in Walmer and with me being the domesticated type this job was right up my alley. However the coffee shop was new and small so we shared the building with 2 other tenants one being a paintball shop. Paint ball being paintball it was always untidy and full of boys I use to just close my eyes and walk past in the mornings. 

One glorious Summers day, the owner of the paint ball shop pop her head around the corner and said " Shay, you gotta come see this" Anyway so I dried my hands and went off to see what the hype was about and there it was... 

The rest of my life, there he stood gorgeous gleaming smile, broom in hand proudly presenting a beautifully neat and swept Paintball shop... Well that was me, SOLD and I didnt even know it. 

We soon became friends and spent most of our working hours together chatting, we were the reason each of us got out of bed in the morning. I had a boyfriend at the time although the visits became more regular LOL. Fortunately things never worked out between myself and the other guy and Ali and I just grew closer and closer. 

The following winter it was official... we celebrated my 21st birthday with our first public smooch and we have been falling ever since. 

The wedding was fabulous, but that is not the reason they say it is the best day of your life... 

It's that feeling in your heart, knowing that you have committed to love someone that you truly love unconditionally forever and who loves you back just as much is really something.

(O MY GOSH...THAT'S ME IN TEARS ALL OVER AGAIN!!)
