Gary & Angelique

From an "African Dream" Wedding to a "Fairy Tale" Wedding, and that's exactly how we interpreted Gary and Angelique's Wedding which we we priviledged to photograph and video!
They both live in Pretoria but both sets of parents are living in Port Elizabeth.
Again, here were another couple we had never met, and they were absolutely delightful. Angelique a shy, minute little thing, with the face of an angel was so warm towards us when we arrived for her getting ready. Gary, what a wonderful young man with a great sense of what is right and wrong and absolutely devoted to Angelique. Then of course there was their precious little girl who was dressed like a minature bride. It was all so delightful.
Both Gary and Angelique have a passion for music and it was a dream for me to photograph her playing for the last time as a single woman on the piano at her parents home.
Their reception was held at The Feather Market Hall, where once a year the prestigious Herald Bridal Fair is held. This was a first for us as the only time we had ever been in the Feather Market Hall was to display our photography and videography to future brides.
Thank you Gary and Angelique for all the "firsts."

Gary and Angelique, we love you both. May sunshine follow you all the days of your life together!

Roger & Jessica

Let me start off by saying...Wow, Wow, Wow
Just when we thought things could not get any better, we get contacted by a company that does Destination Weddings. They signed us up to capture Roger and Jessica's Wedding at none other than the phenominal Shamwari Game Reserve here in the Eastern Cape.
Of course, once again, we were in our element - Greg and I both love the outdoors, wild animals and of course Weddings!!! - We had the best of both worlds!
Roger and Jessica both come from Los Angeles in USA - and once again we had never met them let alone have any contact with them. We were thrilled to have been chosen to capture their Wedding on my camera and Greg's video camera!
What a fabulous couple they both were, attractive, interesting, focused, unique, liberal and sound!
Their story is one that I am sure is not uncommon. They actually met through an internet dating site.
They decided that they wanted an African Destination Wedding. Neither had ever been to Africa, and theirs was to be one of the most unique Wedding's that we have ever done. There were no bridesmaids, no groomsmen, no flower girls, no family, no friends. All they wanted was to seal their comittment to one another with only each other!
Staff at the Game reserve were their witnesses.

Let the day begin:-

And a perfect ending to a perfect day...Impala, Giraffe and Zebra - the only light we had was from the torch belonging to the Game Ranger.

A warm thank you to Roger + Jessica, The Destination company and Shamwari Game Reserve for the most memorial day. Roger + Jessica, we wish you the kind of love that Greg and I share xx
