What a priviledge to be asked to Photograph and Video this special couple. They were married on 12th March 2011. I loved the emotion, the colours, the splendor and the love that I felt between this awesome couple. The huge reception was held in one of the rooms in our very own Stadium here in Port Elizabeth. Enjoy!

Kyle + Elizabeth

Gosh I love weddings - they are always so special and unique and so it was with Kyle and Elizabeth who live in Australia.
Kyle and Elizabeth were High School sweethearts in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. They moved to New Zealand and lived there for 4+half years before moving to Australia where they live currently and it was there that they made the decision to "tie the knot". So on the 12th February 2011 they pledged themselves to each other in Port Elizabeth. Greg and I were priviledged to be asked to capture their wedding on DVD and photographs.

Bhekifa + Busiswe

When we first had our interview with Bhekifa + Busiswe we fell in love with them. Bhekifa is Mashona and comes from Zimbabwe and Busiswe is Xhosa, and comes from the Eastern Cape and they are both Doctors.
This for us was very special, our first African Wedding, AND we had no idea what to expect!

At 7.00am we were at Busi's house to capture her getting ready. You would not believe the bustle that was already going on. The excitement as friends and family got together to support Busi. The colour of the traditional outfits, the food that was being prepared for breakfast - We loved it!

The wedding and reception was held at Riverside. We arrived ahead of Busi and once again were awed at what we witnessed.



It is traditional at African weddings for the Bridal Party to come dancing into the reception. Busi + Bheki and their bridesmaids and groomsmen practised for weeks. We loved this, so different from all the other receptions that we have been a part of. Greg and I were totally enthralled.
